Camera choice, can you give me a suggestion?
I’m going to be going through a series of skin treatments and experimentations, so I would like to keep a close watch, pictorial watch on my skin and I would like to find the cheapest possible camera that could offer me such. I would like to be able to snapshot my pores, wrinkles, discolorations, and other skin related visibilities. Since I’m taking the pictures of myself, I can get as close as I want, set the lighting as I want, and bulkiness is NOT an issue. I have a Canon Powershot 410, which is really really outdated 4MP. I’m thinking it’s not enough to capture what I want.

Those are the features of the Canon Powershot I have right now. I would check myself if it would work but I currently don’t have a battery. Would have to purchase a new battery, but if I know the camera isn’t enough to get what I want, then I won’t really bother buying a new battery. Can anyone make me any recommendations? Perhaps if this camera would work, would not work, a camera I could look for, a specific feature that is a must for my type of work.
